【意味】（話が）脱線する
【例文】We’re getting off the track.（話が脱線しちゃったね）
上記以外にも、様々な言い方があります。
- run off the track
- get off the topic
- run off the topic
- wander off the topic
- go off the rails
- get off the subject
- digress
- go off on a tangent
などなど。
と紹介したものの、私は主に2パターンぐらいしか使いませんが。。。
大体、get off the track か digress を使っています。
- Sorry, I digress.
- We have digressed.
- We are getting off the track
など。
セットで使うフレーズもご紹介しておきます。
- Where were we?（何の話してたっけ？）
- Let’s get back on track.（本題に戻りましょう）
